All of us fight to know as much as possible, but sometimes we find out that the truth hurts as well as sets us free. This song has several influences. Some were true and some were re-worked while I was in Nashville to give it a more "marketable" sound which I don't completely agree with. Although this is certainly one of my favorite songs recorded to date I still liked the original lyrics and demo better. This one is still amazing and I am thankful for all the great musicians who helped me bring it to life.
